Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern the use of this website and any bookings or reservations made through it for accommodation, villas, or hotel services at Lantana Hotel & Villas (the “Hotel/Villa”, “we/us/our”). By accessing or using our website and/or by making a booking, you (“Guest”, “you/your”) confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full.
We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Changes will become effective upon being posted on the website. Your continued use of the website or any booking after such posting means you accept the changes.

Definitions

“Booking” means a confirmed reservation for accommodation or services at our property.
“Guest(s)” means the person who made the booking and all persons listed in the booking as staying at the property.
“Accommodation” means the room, villa, or other facility provided under the Booking.

Rates, Taxes & Payment

All rates quoted are in Euro (€) and include the mandatory taxes and fees required under Cypriot law (VAT, municipal taxes, tourist taxes, if applicable).
Payment terms will be specified at the time of booking. A deposit or full payment may be required to confirm your Booking. Failure to pay by the due date may result in cancellation.
Accepted payment methods include those specified on our website, such as credit/debit cards, bank transfers, or other payment systems indicated at the time of booking.

Booking Confirmation and Security Deposit

A Booking is only confirmed once the required deposit or full payment has been received and acknowledged by us.
For villa rentals or stays requiring a security deposit, a refundable deposit may be requested upon arrival, payable in cash or via card, to cover potential damage or excessive costs. The deposit will be refunded at check-out minus any deductions for damage or excessive use.

Cancellation and No-Show Policy

Cancellation terms vary depending on season, booking type, and dates. For example, cancellations made more than 90 days before arrival may incur a partial fee; cancellations within 30 days (or during peak periods) may be non-refundable.
No-shows, late arrivals, early departures, or reductions in the number of persons without prior agreement will be treated as a full stay and will not be refunded.

Check-in, Check-out & Occupancy

Standard check-in and check-out times will be indicated in the booking confirmation. Early check-in or late check-out may be possible upon request and subject to additional charges.
The number of Guests staying in the accommodation must not exceed the number agreed in the Booking. Exceeding this number without prior written consent may result in immediate termination of stay without refund.

Guest Responsibilities and Conduct

Guests must behave respectfully toward the property, neighbors, and staff. Use of the property for parties, excessive noise, illegal activities, or any activity violating local law is prohibited. Such behavior may lead to immediate eviction without refund.
Guests are responsible for any damage to property, furnishings, or inventory beyond normal wear and tear. Costs of repair or replacement will be charged to the Guest.
Use of utilities, including electricity, water, and air conditioning, must follow any guidance from us, especially when leaving the property unoccupied. Unreasonable overuse may result in additional charges or deductions from the security deposit.
Children must be supervised by adults at all times, especially near pools, terraces, or other potentially hazardous areas.
Pets are not allowed without prior written permission. Unauthorized pets may result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of deposit or payment.

Liability, Insurance and Safety

We shall not be liable for any loss, damage, theft, or injury to personal property or persons, unless due to our proven negligence. Guests use premises, pools, facilities, and services at their own risk.
Guests are strongly advised to obtain travel, health, and personal insurance covering accidents, cancellations, baggage loss, and other travel contingencies.
We reserve the right to enter the property during the stay for necessary maintenance, repairs, or in case of emergency or inspection, always giving reasonable notice, except in urgent situations.

Website Use, Booking Integrity & Data Privacy

Use of our website for reservations is intended solely for legitimate bookings. Misuse or fraudulent bookings may result in denial of service.
By submitting your personal information and booking, you consent to our processing of personal data for booking, communication, billing, and related purposes, in compliance with applicable privacy and data-protection laws.
We do not guarantee the continuous operation of the website or the availability of all information at all times.

Force Majeure

We shall not be held liable for failure to provide services or for cancellation of Bookings due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, public health emergencies, government restrictions, power outages, or other “acts of God.” In such cases, we will endeavor to offer a rescheduled stay or refund of amounts paid, minus any non-refundable deposit, according to availability and internal policy.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively before the courts of Cyprus.

Licensing and Compliance

Lantana Hotel & Villas operates under the license issued by the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Cyprus, in compliance with all local regulations for accommodation and hospitality services. Guests acknowledge that the property meets all local safety, health, and operational standards.

Severability, Waiver & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
Failure by us to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Lantana Hotel & Villas concerning booking and use of accommodation and related services, superseding any prior agreements.
